INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

LAST DEADLINE EXTENSION :20TH NOVEMBER  2024

Theme:

The theme, 'Capture Change,' invites global artists to submit powerful imagery that reflects Climate change, human rights, the fight for freedom, gender equality, resistance against oppression, the struggle against racism, and the pursuit of justice, equality, and peace across borders. This initiative aligns with several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, Goal 5: Gender Equality, Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 13: Climate Action. Through artistic expression, we aim to promote peace, justice, freedom, equality, and sustainable change, while advocating for gender equality, racial justice, and the protection of fundamental rights." 



This is a Collaboration with the UN Civil Society Arts & Culture ImPACT Coalition, “Arts for the Future Festival” & “Our Blood is the Same Color’’  Organization.



Selection Criteria:

  • Relevance to the theme of change , human rights and Climate Change
  • Artistic quality and technical excellence.
  • Ability to  provoke thought and inspire action.



Important Notes:



  • Ensure all  submissions are in digital format.
  • Photos must be original  and previously unpublished.
  • Selected  photographers will be notified via email and provided with further details  regarding the exhibition.



Submission Guidelines:


 1.. Any style of photography, including fine art, minimalism, abstract, documentary, portrait, landscape, street, conceptual, surreal, black and white, macro, architectural, and experimental, is welcome to be submitted as long as it aligns with the theme.

 

2. Photographs: Submit up to 3 high-quality photographs that align with the theme. Ensure that images are well-composed, high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi), and convey a strong narrative related to social change, human rights, or peace.


3. Bio: Include a brief biography (up to 200 words) about yourself, detailing your background and artistic perspective.


4. Full Name: Provide your full name as it should appear in any credits or exhibition materials.


4. Please submit your application at the end of this page, and make sure that you complete  the payment if you are applying from the US, UK, EU. If you are from any other part of the world here will be no fee for you. 



Submission Fee: $20



  

To support SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, we have waived the submission fee for artists applying from countries outside the US, Canada, UK, EU countries (e.g., Germany, France, Italy), Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Russia. 




Exhibition Details:



  • Exhibition Date: The Exact Date TBA Soon, SEP 2024
  • Location: New York City
  • Event: The selected photographs will be exhibited during      the United Nations Summit of the Future, 2024 at a special photo      exhibition and reception in New York City, United Sates.

 

Photo Submission Policy for the Exhibition:

  1. Sales Interest:
    While no sales will be conducted during the exhibition, participants are encouraged to indicate whether they are potentially interested in selling their work. This information will be kept on file for any future opportunities if buyers express interest after the event.
  2. Ownership & Rights:
    By submitting your photos, you retain full ownership and copyright of your work. However, you agree to grant the exhibition organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
    • Display your photos at the exhibition.
    • Use your photos for promotional purposes related to this and future exhibitions (e.g., social media, brochures, press releases).
    • Archive your photos for future exhibitions or marketing, without altering the original image.

  1. Promotion and Marketing:
    By submitting your photos, you grant permission for the organizers to promote your work across various platforms, including digital, print, and in-person events. The promotion will aim to enhance both the visibility of your artwork and the exhibition. You will always receive proper credit.
  2. Future Use:
    Your submission also gives the organizers the right to feature your photos in future exhibitions and related events hosted by them. These uses will always include proper attribution but will not involve any financial compensation.
  3. No Sales During Exhibition:
    While the exhibition will not facilitate sales, should you express interest in potentially selling your work, the organizers may contact you post-exhibition if any buyers inquire.
  4. Withdrawal of Work:
    If, after submission, you wish to withdraw your work from any future promotions or exhibitions, you must notify the organizers in writing. However, any images already used in promotional materials cannot be retracted after publication.

Agreement to Terms:
By submitting your photos, you confirm that you have read and understood the above guidelines and agree to all terms and conditions regarding the use of your work. Submission of your photos constitutes acceptance of these terms.

فراخوانی برای هنرمندان جهانی نمایشگاه بین‌المللی عکاسی مهلت ارسال آثار:

موضوع: موضوع «ثبت تغییر»

از هنرمندان جهانی دعوت می‌کند تا تصاویر قدرتمندی را ارائه دهند که منعکس‌کننده تغییرات اقلیمی، حقوق بشر، مبارزه برای آزادی، برابری جنسیتی، مقاومت در برابر ستم، مبارزه با نژادپرستی، و تلاش برای عدالت، برابری و صلح در سراسر مرزها باشد. 



این ابتکار با چندین هدف توسعه پایدار سازمان ملل (SDGs) از جمله هدف16: صلح، عدالت و نهادهای قوی، هدف 5: برابری جنسیتی، هدف 10: کاهش نابرابری‌ها و هدف13: اقدام اقلیمی همسو است. هدف ما از طریق بیان هنری ترویج صلح، عدالت، آزادی، برابری و تغییرات پایدار است، در حالی که از برابری جنسیتی، عدالت نژادی و حفاظت از حقوق اساسی حمایت می‌کنیم. 



معیارهای انتخاب: مرتبط بودن با موضوع تغییر و حقوق بشر کیفیت هنری و برتری فنی توانایی تحریک اندیشه و الهام بخشی برای اقدام 


نکات مهم: اطمینان حاصل کنید که همه آثار به صورت دیجیتالی ارسال شوند. 

عکس‌ها باید اوریجینال و قبلاً منتشر نشده باشند. 

عکاسان منتخب از طریق ایمیل مطلع خواهند شد و اطلاعات بیشتر در مورد نمایشگاه به آنها ارائه خواهد شد.
